Smart Filter Cuppa
Overview
Cuppa is a smart filter that indicate the time that tea of your liking needs to brew in water for have the perfect taste. I collaborated designing this concept for a client in California.
A huge market of people likes tea, the problem they face not knowing how to control the temperature and time for tea, let me define the solution in a portable and small device.
Goal
The Goal was to design and develop a simple smart filter tea that people can interact and found useful for its tea preparation.
My Role
Industrial Designer responsible for:
• Conceptualize first sketch ideas and refine.
• Material selection for efficient use.
• Design in Autodesk Inventor and prepare render visualizations in keyShot.
• Build prototypes in 3d printing for testing.
• Prepare CMF design specifications for manufacture.
